Nothing could be easier to maintain these shoes! You simply wash them with soap and water, do not use grease or detergent. Spray NIKWAX waterproofing spray to reactivate the water repellency of the leather and textile. Do not dry them next to a strong heat source in order to preserve the flexibility of the upper.
The lightest and most breathable of our shoes, thanks to the massive use of reinforced mesh in the upper. Very light and comfortable thanks to the ultra-light EVA foam midsole and the 5 mm thick removable PU insole for even more cushioning.
This shoe is particularly recommended if you do wildlife photography or stalking in dry weather, to be as quiet as possible in your progress. Indeed, its lightness, flexibility, and sole cushioning will allow you to perfectly control your contact with the ground and limit all noise.

The shoes are good but the sole and the laces need to be improved because after 2 weeks one of my laces got damaged.
Superb...real slippers...
Although you can find this pair of shoes in the hunting section, I bought the first version of this model almost ten years ago. I practiced all types of terrain in the Mercantour in all weathers in all seasons. Of course, it suited my foot from the start. And we have come a long way together. Apart from the sole which lost its stud and smoothed out in the center, nothing cracked. I just ordered this version which does not seem to have changed, just barely the design and the eyelets at the top of the upper which were not present in the previous version. The +: lightness, stability, robustness, breathability, and its price. The -: waterproofing (designed from the outset for dry weather).
