Nothing could be easier to maintain these shoes! You simply wash them with soap and water, do not use grease or detergent. Spray NIKWAX waterproofing spray to reactivate the water repellency of the leather and textile. Do not dry them next to a strong heat source in order to preserve the flexibility of the upper.
Waterproofing is ensured by a membrane placed under the leather of the upper. It blocks water but not perspiration. We subjected it to 2 tests: total immersion in water for 6 hours, and 30 submerged flexes, without any water intake! Enough to walk in the rain without fear.
Even if it doesn't rain, the grass can be soaked with water... So don't forget gaiters or waterproof pants! Otherwise the water will soak through your pants and then your socks and you'll have both feet wet... Also think about the right pair of socks, like the ACT 2 Solognac for your greatest comfort, as well as cutting your toenails properly, which can damage the inside of your shoes and let water in.

Very pleasant to wear, and comfortable to wear. You feel safe, don't forget to waterproof them before in wet weather hiking, hunting etc.
Really disappointed, there's a coating that comes off under the sole at some of the studs. I only use this pair of shoes for hunting and I must have only gone about 10 times last year. And I noticed this this year for the new season. I really wanted a pair that would last and this isn't the case...
Comfortable. They're not too heavy. Go up a size.
