The grip of our soles is labeled. To benefit from this, the shoe must pass laboratory tests to assess the grip coefficient on different surfaces (smooth, rough, dry, wet). To approve these tests, we then have the quality of our soles in the field, in the mountains, by a panel of child testers.

For the practice of hiking, do not hesitate to take a size above your usual size in order to guarantee optimal comfort downhill and to prevent the toes from hitting the stop. Tip: keep your nails short and, before any descent, check that your lacing prevents your foot from sliding forward in the shoe.

Have your child try on both shoes, standing up, with the socks used for hiking. Try several models and several sizes if necessary. Two points of comfort need to be checked: the seat of the heel and the front of the foot when descending. Avoid all pressure points during the fitting. Do not hesitate to have your child walk around the store. Make him gradually use the shoes during the first hikes to make them fit his feet.

Removable insole for faster drying. It can also be replaced by an orthopedic insole.
