GUIDE TO SIZES MEN

To take your measurements:

  • Head:  Wrap a measuring tape around your head, above the eyebrows. Make sure it's parallel to the ground when your head is straight.
  • Chest:  Wrap a measuring tape around your back and come forward as far as your chest goes. Make sure it is straight and parallel to the ground.
    Raise your head, tighten the tape and breathe normally.
  • Size:  Wrap a tape measure around the narrowest part of your waist, above your belly button.
    Raise your head, tighten the tape and breathe normally.
  • Main:  Hold a tape measure at the bend of your thumb. Wrap around your palm.
  • Feet: hold on stand against a wall, heels touching the wall. Place an object (eg a book...) against your longest toe.
    Measure the length between the wall and the object.

      WHY USE SLIPPERS

      Whatever the practice, the majority of exercises are done with the feet touching the ground, sometimes abrasive, or with a support on which your foot will rest (step, bike, trampoline, etc.). Using a shoe helps limit friction between the foot and these elements.

      FOR THE PRACTICE OF AQUABIKE

      It is advisable to wear slippers for the practice of the aquabike to avoid injury with the pedals of the bike (unless these are designed to be barefoot). During aquabike lessons you often go from sitting to standing and the support is done a lot with the foot on the pedal, if you wear slippers, they will cushion your support on the pedal of the bike.

      WHY PRACTICE AQUAGYM OR AQUAFTINESS?

      Once immersed in water, the body becomes lighter and all movements become easier, even if water creates greater resistance than air and requires the muscles to work harder. The muscles work more intensely without us even realizing it, and water aerobics therefore has the advantage of being a "non-traumatic" activity. Don't hesitate! It's good for the body, the heart, the health, and the morale!
