When you run, the shock wave generated by each impact with the ground is approximately 3 times your body weight. This wave travels from the heel to the top of the spine. The joints act as shock absorbers, but they are put under severe strain. We designed the DECATHLON RUN COMFORT running shoe to protect you from these shocks and impacts.
What guarantees the cushioning of the Run Comfort jogging shoe?
The cushioning of the RUN CONFORT DECATHLON running shoe is provided by a sole made of an exclusive, flexible and soft EVA (Ethylene vinyl acetate) foam that we have named KALENSOLE and the "Circular System" concept: an air hole in the foam at the heel which allows for more efficient and homogeneous dispersion of the shock wave in this area.
How do I choose the right size for my running shoe?
To guarantee optimal comfort with the RUN COMFORT, choose one size larger than usual, there must be 1cm between your toe and the end of the shoe because your foot swells during exercise.
Why is it important to have good posture?
When you jog, your foot must be supported for several reasons: to avoid chafing, irritation and blisters.
What is the drop of the run comfort running shoe?
The "drop" is the difference in height between the back (heel) and the front (forefoot) of the shoe. The difference in sole height between the front and back is 10 mm.
