To take your measurements:

  • Head:  Wrap a measuring tape around your head, above the eyebrows. Make sure it's parallel to the ground when your head is straight.
  • Chest:  Wrap a measuring tape around your back and come forward as far as your chest goes. Make sure it is straight and parallel to the ground.
    Raise your head, tighten the tape and breathe normally.
  • Size:  Wrap a tape measure around the narrowest part of your waist, above your belly button.
    Raise your head, tighten the tape and breathe normally.
  • Main:  Hold a tape measure at the bend of your thumb. Wrap around your palm.
  • Feet: hold on stand against a wall, heels touching the wall. Place an object (eg a book...) against your longest toe.

      Grippy soles on footpaths

      Our hiking shoes are designed for use on hiking trails. We select and test the sole and upper components of our shoes to best suit hiking on soft trails (e.g., dirt forest trails) or mineral trails (e.g., rocky coastal trails). Using them on roads (asphalt) may accelerate the wear of your shoes and cause discomfort. They are not suitable for hiking in the high mountains.

      Tested for optimal resistance

      Laboratory tests are conducted to validate the following elements: tearing of eyelets and straps, gluing, toxicology, UV resistance, abrasion of the sole and upper components, accelerated aging. These tests allow us to improve the quality of our products and prevent premature wear of our hiking boots.

      Which pair of socks are suitable for Quechua Escape 500 Fresh shoes?

      We advise you to choose a pair of socks made of polyamide and without cotton. Polyamide is a fiber specially chosen for its ability to wick away moisture.
