GUIDE TO SIZES MEN

To take your measurements:

  • Head:  Wrap a measuring tape around your head, above the eyebrows. Make sure it's parallel to the ground when your head is straight.
  • Chest:  Wrap a measuring tape around your back and come forward as far as your chest goes. Make sure it is straight and parallel to the ground.
    Raise your head, tighten the tape and breathe normally.
  • Size:  Wrap a tape measure around the narrowest part of your waist, above your belly button.
    Raise your head, tighten the tape and breathe normally.
  • Main:  Hold a tape measure at the bend of your thumb. Wrap around your palm.
  • Feet: hold on stand against a wall, heels touching the wall. Place an object (eg a book...) against your longest toe.
    Measure the length between the wall and the object.

      How to choose your inner tube:

      To properly maintain your bike, it is important to know the exact dimensions of your tires. This information is shown on the sidewall of the tire (diameter and section). For example, 27,5 x 2.10 means that it is a tire with a diameter of 27,5 inches and a width of 2.10 inches. On the sidewall of the tire, you will also find the dimensions in mm in the international unit ETRTO. For example, 50-584 means that it is a tire with a width of 50 mm and an internal diameter of 584 mm (i.e. 27,5 x 2,00).

      Removing your inner tube, the tools you will need:

      Remove the used inner tube using the tire levers.

      Checks before fitting an inner tube:

      Fitting an inner tube should always be preceded by a complete check of the wheel.

      How to change an inner tube:

      Follow our video for each step. Pre-inflate to avoid pinch points, insert the valve, place the tube in the tire, and check that it is centered in the rim.

      Tire mounting:

      Start by mounting the tire at the valve. Finish mounting opposite the valve to avoid pinching. Never mount your tire with a tool or tire lever, as this can pinch and puncture the tube.

      Tire inflation:

      Identify the ideal pressure on the tire. During inflation, check that it is correctly positioned on the rim.
