GUIDE TO SIZES MEN

To take your measurements:

  • Head:  Wrap a measuring tape around your head, above the eyebrows. Make sure it's parallel to the ground when your head is straight.
  • Chest:  Wrap a measuring tape around your back and come forward as far as your chest goes. Make sure it is straight and parallel to the ground.
    Raise your head, tighten the tape and breathe normally.
  • Size:  Wrap a tape measure around the narrowest part of your waist, above your belly button.
    Raise your head, tighten the tape and breathe normally.
  • Main:  Hold a tape measure at the bend of your thumb. Wrap around your palm.
  • Feet: hold on stand against a wall, heels touching the wall. Place an object (eg a book...) against your longest toe.
    Measure the length between the wall and the object.

      How to choose your inner tube:

      To properly maintain your tire, it's important to know the exact dimensions of your tires. This information is shown on the tire's sidewall (diameter and section). For example, 27,5x1,90 means a tire with a diameter of 27,5 inches and a width of 1,90 inches. On the sidewall, you'll also find the dimensions in mm in the international ETRTO unit. For example, 50-584 means a tire with a width of 50 mm and an internal diameter of 584 mm (approximately 27,5x2,00).

      Removing your inner tube, the tools you will need:

      Simplify inner tube removal with B'TWIN tire levers.

      Checks before installing your inner tube:

      Check your tire for wear and make sure nothing is stuck inside. Also check the rim tape and rim: even a small crack can damage your inner tube.

      How to change an inner tube:

      Before installation, watch our instructional video. Pre-inflate the tube, insert the valve into the correct hole, install it in the tire, and then gently push it onto the rim.

      Tire mounting:

      Start the assembly: always at the valve. Finish without tools at the other end to avoid damaging the inner tube.

      Tire inflation:
