How is the speed of drying measured?
The product is machine washed 3 times and then line dried, then immersed in water and measured for the product to return to its pre-wash weight. This cap gets a very good rating of 5 out of 5 stars by returning to its pre-wash weight in less than 80 minutes!
Is my cap anti-UV?
Although the main fabric provides good protection against UV rays with a UPF coefficient >50 (so only letting through one fiftieth of the rays), this cap cannot be claimed to be anti-UV according to current standards because it does not cover the neck and because the vents are made of openwork fabric, therefore not blocking UV rays.
Increased resistance thanks to the grid fabric
Grid fabric is a mesh-like fabric. The warp and weft threads are designed to ensure its strength and prevent any tearing. It is therefore particularly durable compared to a smooth canvas, for example.
