My cap is not UV-resistant?
Rest assured, the fabric used for this cap blocks UV rays well with a UPF index greater than 50 (therefore excellent protection). This is obviously not the case for the side panels which are perforated, so we cannot claim anti-UV cap in its entirety.
Why do we say that polyamide is more resistant?
Polyamide has excellent abrasion and tear resistance. Furthermore, this synthetic fiber is resistant to microorganisms and mold.
How is the speed of drying measured?
The product is machine washed 3 times and then line dried, then immersed in water and measured for the product to return to its pre-wash weight. This cap gets a very good rating of 5 out of 5 stars by returning to its pre-wash weight in less than 80 minutes!
