The front and rear seats are high, which provides greater comfort for adults in the paddling position.
INFLATED SIZE Length: 300 cm Width: 95 cm FOLDED SIZE IN BAG Height: 62 cm Width: 44 cm Thickness: 27 cm Weight: 11 kg Maximum pressure: 0,1 bar (1,5 PSI) Number of seats: 1 seat Contents: kayak, bag, repair kit, daggerboard DOES NOT CONTAIN A PUMP Works with an Itiwit multi-tip double-action hand pump.
Itiwit kayaks have after-sales service parts. Please come to the workshop of a Decathlon store to obtain them or to order them.
First inflate the floor, then one tube, then the second tube to 50%. Check the positioning of the chambers. Then inflate everything to 100% to a maximum pressure of 0,1 bar (1,5 PSI). DO NOT OVERINFLATE! Close the valves securely. Install the three fins, except when using the kayak on a river if the water is shallow. In case of HIGH HEAT, slightly deflate the kayak when out of the water to avoid overpressure that can damage it. Do not leave it inflated in direct sunlight: risk of overpressure.
If one of the side chambers is damaged, open the bladder lengthwise using the zipper and remove the chamber. The bottom cover can be removed by opening the Velcro fasteners. Case 1: The hole is located on the bladder; you can use the repair kit to apply a patch. Case 2: The hole is located along a seam; go to the workshop service of a DECATHLON store to exchange the defective bladder (2-year warranty).
Patented bow shape: the front and rear points provide good glide. The front of the kayak, in the shape of a V, allows a fluid entry of water.
Backpack-style carrying bag for short trips. Easy-clip fins. Deflate the kayak by unscrewing the three Boston valves. Fold the side tubes to the bottom. Roll it up, starting on the side opposite the valves to expel the air. Place the rolled kayak in the main compartment of the bag. Close the zipper and tighten with the compression strap.
We advise you to practice with a buoyancy aid.
Is your canoe or kayak inflatable or rigid and less than 3,50 meters long? You are in possession of a beach craft. You must always remain 300 meters from a shelter (any place on the coast where any craft or vessel and its crew can reach safety by anchoring or docking and leave without assistance). A buoyancy aid is not mandatory but strongly recommended to facilitate re-entry into the boat in the event of a fall.
Your canoe/kayak is rigid or inflatable with at least two separate air chambers. It measures over 3,50 meters. It is "sea-approved" by the manufacturer. You can then navigate up to 2 nautical miles (approximately 3 km) from shore. You will need to have several safety items. Easy to handle and good quality
Having known several models from Decathlon that I liked, this single-seater, although easy to transport, has a big drawback in terms of the water drain plug.
In fact, previous models were designed to make water drainage as easy as possible. This is not the case with this model, where the inflatable floor and side bead completely obstruct the opening provided for this purpose!
Even lifting the end of the floor alone is a pain... You need two people (not great for a single-seater), one to insert their finger to lift the floor and the other to tilt the boat. This difficulty obviously makes the canoe very heavy after use.
As for dismantling the fins, tools will be necessary because with the help of sand, neither the plastic pins nor the fins will come out without the help of a screwdriver and a mallet! Unless you use the canoe exclusively in a swimming pool... The system on the old models was much more ingenious because once the canoe was inflated, it could not be lost and once deflated it was very easily dismantled...
Perfect for regular use
a lot of stability
