Rod purchased in January 2023 - 9 months of use (1 outing max per week) - the sion breaks sharply between the first two rings, without any specific blow, wear mark or impact visible on this part. When I returned to the store I was told that it was not guaranteed and that it was up to me to provide the expertise on the breakage of the product, without even wanting to take a look at the rod. 75€ on order to replace it on a 110€ rod. Disappointed by the product and by the feedback from the “expert” in store.
I bought this rod in April 2022 but I've only done three outings with it, and for good reason. On the fourth cast the tip broke sharply, I was using an 18g surface lure. Used with a Daiwa legalis LT4000 CXH, the combo is just perfect but too bad the rod is too fragile. While searching online I noticed that a lot of people had the same breakage problem. Also a shame about the replacement cost which represents 3/4 of the price and which is especially not available either.
