Shoe compatibility
The wide opening of the plastic shell and the long strap length of the toe clips make them compatible with most flat shoes or athletic shoes on the market. A sole that is too thick, rigid, with large studs, or a large instep can make insertion difficult, if not impossible.
Modern design
With taut lines, the design of our toe clips has been particularly worked to bring a modern and sporty touch to your bike.
Why an innovative toe-clip?
We designed these toe clips in France at the B'Twin Village (Lille). It was by observing and asking you questions that we came up with the idea for these innovative toe clips. Our toe clip allows you to instantly remove your foot in an emergency, while ensuring the same pedaling efficiency as a traditional toe clip.
How to mount the toe clips on the pedals?
The mounting method (notched screws + nuts) of our toe clips is based on the market standard. To mount them on your bike, you will need to remove one reflector per pedal to free up the 2 holes required for mounting. On our leisure mountain bikes (ST 50, ST 100, ST 120), the pedals are not drilled: a change of pedals is necessary. Our compatible pedals available in store or on our website are the following: MTB 100 resin pedals, MTB 500 aluminum pedals and MTB 520 grip pedals.
How to adjust the belt / straps?
After tightening the strap, you may have a length of strap left over to store. Insert it through the hole on the side of the cleat (below the buckle). You can also cut it and quickly pass the end under the flame of a lighter to prevent it from fraying.
Restrictions
A sole that is too thick, rigid, with large studs, or a large instep can make insertion difficult or even impossible. For use with large shoes (high-tops, mountain hiking, boots), rigid mountain bike shoes with large studs, other than flat shoes or sports shoes, or on large foot sizes, we recommend a preliminary test in store.
