We've taken your feedback into account when improving the Classic Goal. Along with our design team, we've enhanced the goal with a cataphoretic coating, which gives us a 5-year corrosion-resistant guarantee.
Because it is important to accompany the steps of young footballers in complete safety, we have developed this football goal which does not exceed 18kg, thus respecting French standards.
When designing the Classic Goal, we implemented specific Kipsta tests to ensure the product's strength, stability, and safety. For example, to assess the product's strength, we conduct load tests in our laboratory that replicate the weight of a child. During this test, the goal is put to the test, applying a load of 63kg (for size L) and checking that the product does not deform.
To test the resistance of our fasteners which hold the net, we recently implemented a fatigue test which reproduces the behavior of the net during play. Thus, we verify that over 5000 cycles, the fastener does not break. Through our field observations, we wanted to develop tests related to stability. This is why a tilting test is carried out on our entire range of goals to ensure the stability of the product with a requirement of 25°.

I am a fan of the Decathlon brand. I bought the M goals and I recently bought the L goals because I am very happy with the size M. Very stylish goal, good size, easy to assemble, however I am extremely pleased with the quality of the nets. We play with my 9 year old son with the light blue decathlon ball (so not a leather ball etc.) and after 3 uses I already notice 4 net strings which are broken. It’s really a shame!
