We, surfers of all levels, have designed these swim shorts for the beginner surfer who surfs in the foam.

YOU ARE A BEGINNER SURFER

You start surfing or only surf a few times a year, during your holidays or on a surf trip. You stay where you are, in very small waves or foam. You practice for the pleasure of being in the water and for the sensations it gives you. During your sessions, you fall often but you fall in weak waves. We have designed for you a wide range of swimsuits adapted to your occasional practice and your morphology.

ACTIVE AT THE BEACH!

Whether you're a surfer or enjoying a swim in the sea, you don't want to lose your swimsuit! That's why we test all of our swimwear in the waves. Each model is designed for surfing and is perfectly suited to other water sports: stand up paddle, windsurfing, kite surfing, swimming, etc.

MORPHOLOGY

Ideal for a discovery surf session in the foam, stand-up paddle boarding or snorkeling, slightly loose and low waisted, the TINI boardshort adapts to all body types. Its fairly short length does not "cut" the leg and draws a pretty silhouette. Its drawstring guarantees a very good hold in use.

WAVE TEST

We design swimsuits whose promise is to hold up in the waves. To evaluate them, we call on a panel of surfers with different morphologies who will follow a test protocol in the pool, in our design offices in Hendaye. This protocol aims to reproduce the sensations experienced by the surfer when she is stirred by a wave. If this test is conclusive, we go surfing at sea, testing our swimsuits in real conditions.

Based in Hendaye, in the southwest of France, OLAIAN is Decathlon's new surf and bodyboard brand. In our offices “feet in the water” we can design a swimsuit in one day, then test it directly at sea to check how well it holds up in the waves.
