      Product Description:

Our design team created these telescopic aluminum poles for beginners to Nordic walking.

Want to try Nordic walking? These telescopic aluminum poles are adjustable to fit your height and ensure a reliable grip during your outings.

      Product information

Our design team created these telescopic aluminum poles for beginners to Nordic walking.

What are the differences between Nordic walking and hiking?

Nordic walking is practiced with specific poles. The poles will help you propel your movement and work your upper body in depth. The hike is practiced with or without sticks to allow you to take support uphill and to avoid slipping downhill.

How do I properly adjust the size of my Nordic walking poles?

      1. Take the poles in hand and put on the gauntlet: standing with your arm holding the pole on the ground, your elbow should form a right angle (90°). 2. Calculate the optimal height of your Nordic walking poles: Your height (cm) x 0,68. If you are a beginner, it is better to take a slightly smaller pole to learn the correct gesture. For example, if you are 1m67 tall, you should calculate: 167x0,68 = 113,56. Adjust your Nordic walking poles to 110 cm.

How do I properly use the adjustment system on my Nordic walking poles?

We have developed this system to make your life easier, there is still a small adjustment to make, we will explain how! https://conseilsport.decathlon.fr/conseils/comment-bien-utiliser-le-bloqueur-externe-de-mes-batons-de-marche-nordique-tp_35296

How to use your Nordic walking poles?

      1. To make it easier to remove the tips, the product used leaves a greasy film inside. To avoid losing the tip, simply put a little dust inside to remove the grease and the tip will hold well on the tip. 2. The attachment clip of the gauntlet to the handle has a direction. There is a flat side and a side with beveled angles. Always make sure to have the side with the beveled angles facing up or put your gauntlets on your hands before clipping them to the stick.

What are the specificities of Nordic walking poles?

Nordic walking is always practiced with two sticks to promote propulsion. Gauntlets allow you to drop and catch sticks without dropping them. Poles have the advantage of being light. The tip of the Nordic walking poles grips the ground and propels you forward. The removable tips (supplied) guarantee you grip on hard ground.

What are the benefits of Nordic walking?

Nordic walking is a complete sport accessible to all. It tones the body, improves breathing, is effective for weight loss, and strengthens bones. In addition to these numerous physical benefits, there is the feeling of well-being that comes from practicing this outdoor sport.
