NIKI KOGA MALDIVES women's low-waisted surf swimsuit bottoms

We design swimsuits whose promise is to hold up in the waves. To evaluate them, we call on a panel of at least 12 surfers with different morphologies who will follow a test protocol in the pool, in our design offices in Hendaye. This protocol aims to reproduce the sensations experienced by the surfer when she is stirred by a wave. If this test is conclusive, we go surfing at sea, testing our swimsuits in real conditions.

The environmental impacts of the product are calculated over its entire life cycle and using various indicators. An overall ABCDE score is created to help you easily identify the products with the best environmental performance by comparing products of the same type (T-shirts, pants, backpacks, etc.). Based in Hendaye, in the southwest of France, OLAIAN is Decathlon's new surf and bodyboard brand. In our offices “feet in the water” we can design a swimsuit in one day, then test it directly at sea to check how well it holds up in the waves.

The size or model does not suit you? would you like to make an exchange in your Decathlon store? No problem, just be careful not to cut the swimsuit tag in case you want to exchange it.

For those who don't dare to show their buttocks, the classic brief shape is an excellent compromise between coverage and femininity. Reassuring, it benefits from a medium cut that outlines pretty legs. The low waist of this brief is aimed more at petite body types but also at women who are comfortable with their body and appreciate the style of a two-piece swimsuit. Its elasticated edges guarantee a good hold of the swimsuit in the waves.

You practice surfing regularly. During your sessions, you row to the line up, pass the bar by duck if you are on a shortboard or turtle, on a longboard then surf waves of less than one meter. You fall often and are used to being tossed about underwater. Your swimsuit must meet the requirements of your practice and stay in place with each of your movements. We have designed for you a range adapted to your regular practice and your morphology.

To ensure a perfect fit in the water, we are required to adjust our models while dry because once in the water, the swimsuits relax. We therefore advise you to choose the right size. The swimsuit must fit snugly on your body in the fitting room; you should feel supported. The elastane contained in certain components used in the design of our swimsuits softens and relaxes in the water.
