3 piece urethane
The core provides initial ball speed, while the urethane cover grips the club's grooves to generate backspin. The Tour 900 ball's Surlyn midlayer acts as an interface between the core and the urethane cover, allowing for fine-tuning of the distance, softness, and control ratio.
Why a 3-piece ball?
The Tour 900 ball is one of the balls for expert players. It's required to have a long driving distance and to stop very quickly when attacking the green. These are two opposing qualities. For driving, you need a ball that comes off the driver face quickly with little backspin (retro effect). And for wedging, on the contrary, you need maximum backspin. To achieve this, you have to start with a 3-piece ball.

Clean your ball as often as possible and if possible before each shot, both on face-offs and on putts. Inspect your ball frequently to ensure that it is in good condition and thus guarantee better ball flight and more accuracy.

She got a makeover
The Tour 900 ball is adorned with a new "ice blue" color, a white that is very slightly blue. Of course, it is still a white ball, but if you compare it to the old version, the difference is noticeable and this reinforces its premium look. We have also changed the marking. The number is now black, which is the standard for balls with a compression around 90/95 (it is red for balls with a compression above 100).

excellent ball
Regular use of this ball
Excellent balls. The alignment line is essential for me. On the other hand, I'm not a fan of the logo's graphics but that's secondary.
