Our main fabric features a white coating that provides UPF 50+ sun protection. Please note: some UV rays pass directly or indirectly through the front of the shelter; we recommend protecting your skin.
Ideal for sheltering up to 4 people, 2 adults and 2 children. Whether sitting or lying down, the groundsheet protects you from the ground (humidity, dirt, roughness). The 2 ventilated fabric windows allow you to see to the sides. Maximum height of the shelter: 1,15 m Width of the shelter: 1,7 m at its widest point Depth of the shelter: 1,1 m (on the ground) Once unfolded, the shelter forms a rectangle on the ground of 1,9 m².
Structure with 2 pre-assembled all-in-one hoops. We recommend assembly by 2 people: - Unfold the hoops on the ground, - Place them in their textile sheath (there is no direction, because the 2 hoops are identical), - Insert the end of one hoop into the sock and repeat this on the second hoop, - At the other end of the hoop, put it under tension, and insert the hoop into the opposite sock, - The shelter is self-supporting, orient it and plant the 4 pegs at the corners.
We test all our tents in a wind tunnel on a rotating platform. The goal is to expose each side of the shelter to the same wind intensity. When properly pitched, this shelter remains habitable in winds of force 4, measured at 30 km/h. If you need more strength, guy ropes are available on our Decathlon website and in stores, reference 8030251.
This shelter has two identical poles. Main material: fiberglass (with a steel ferrule between the poles). Diameter: 2 mm.
This shelter is designed to be repairable, spare parts and pole repairs are available at your Decathlon store workshop or on Decathlon.fr. Our shelters have been designed for occasional outdoor use (4 weeks per year) during your outings in the great outdoors. Continuous exposure to UV rays for several weeks can damage their textile part. These products do not fall into the "garden furniture" category and are not designed to remain outdoors permanently. To ensure an optimal lifespan for your shelter, it is important to clean it and store it dry in its cover when not in use.
