Removal of plastic stickers

Starting in 2022, all women's swimsuits designed by Decathlon will be sold without plastic stickers. This meaningful decision is strongly based on protecting our planet and limiting plastic use. 940 km of plastic will be saved each year! Let's make this responsibility a shared commitment by keeping your underwear on during a change of clothes.

Morphologie

For those who don't dare to show off their buttocks, the classic brief shape is an excellent compromise between coverage and femininity. Reassuring and comfortable, it still benefits from a medium cut that creates beautiful legs. It is suitable for all body types and therefore for all women who are comfortable with their body and appreciate the style of a two-piece swimsuit. Its elasticated edges guarantee good stability of the swimsuit in the water.

Wave resistance test

We design swimsuits whose promise is to hold up in the waves. To evaluate them, we call on a panel of surfers with different morphologies who will follow a test protocol in the pool, in our design offices in Hendaye. This protocol aims to reproduce the sensations experienced by the surfer when she is stirred by a wave. If this test is conclusive, we go surfing at sea, testing our swimsuits in real conditions.

Beginner surfer

You start surfing or only surf a few times a year, during your holidays or on a surf trip. You stay where you are, in very small waves or foam. You practice for the pleasure of being in the water and for the sensations it gives you. During your sessions, you fall often but you fall in weak waves. We have designed for you a wide range of swimsuits adapted to your occasional practice and your morphology.

Comfortable jersey

We work to support women so that they feel good in our swimsuits. The chest is not crushed, the buttocks are not marked, the level of coverage varies. Our mission is to ensure that every woman finds a swimsuit that suits her, whatever her body, her morphology or her size.

Dry cutting and wet cutting

To ensure a perfect fit in the water, we have to adjust our swimsuits while they're still wet, as they stretch out of shape once you're in the water. We therefore advise you to choose the correct size. The swimsuit should fit snugly in the changing room: you should feel supported. The elastane in some of the materials used in our swimsuits softens and stretches in the water.

Multisport swimsuit

Whether you're a surfer or enjoying a swim in the sea, you don't want to lose your swimsuit! That's why we test all of our swimwear in the waves. Each model is designed for surfing and is perfectly suited to other water sports: stand up paddle, windsurfing, kite surfing, swimming, etc.

Do you want to exchange your swimsuit?

The size or model does not suit you? would you like to make an exchange in your Decathlon store? No problem, just be careful not to cut the swimsuit tag in case you want to exchange it.

Based in Hendaye, in the southwest of France, OLAIAN is Decathlon's new surf and bodyboard brand. In our offices “feet in the water” we can design a swimsuit in one day, then test it directly at sea to check how well it holds up in the waves.
