This leather weightlifting belt provides extra support and helps increase abdominal pressure when lifting a heavy barbell (over 80% of your maximum repetition). This pressure acts as a protective "sheath" by keeping the spine in the correct position. In addition, leaning on the belt allows the abs and lower back to remain tense throughout the effort, reducing the risk of common lower back injuries.
