This pressure acts as a protection by keeping the spine aligned. By using this belt, your abdominal and lower back muscles remain under tension throughout the exercise, reducing the risk of common lower back injuries.

To put on the weight lifting belt: - Attach it above your hips by tightening it slightly using the first Velcro system. - Tighten it further using the second Velcro system. For better support, pull your stomach in slightly to move to the next notch, which will increase abdominal pressure. If you have difficulty breathing when inflating your chest, this means that the belt is too tight. In this case, loosen it one notch.
After each set of exercises, remember to loosen the second closure system on your belt. Otherwise, it can increase your blood pressure. However, you can keep it around your waist during your rest period thanks to the first closure system.
To ease your grip during deadlifts, use the grip straps (ref. 8642608). And add the knee sleeves (ref. 8548500) to reduce the risk of injury thanks to their warmth at the level of your knee joints.
