When you're running in the great outdoors for hours, you expect maximum support from your shoes! That's why we added a PU strip welded to the mesh on the back and sides of the shoe, to surround your foot. The result: when you pull on your laces, your shoe grips your foot for even more support.

What's behind the design of the XT8?

To provide you with support, versatility and grip, the XT8 is full of details: - Its pocket on the tongue allows you to store your laces! - With 285 g in size 39, your shoe is always lighter, and suitable for up to a body weight of 75 kg. - Its sole offers you an 8 mm drop - For maximum comfort - even on trails - the lining covers the entire inside of the shoe, right down to the toes!

To offer you an even more versatile shoe, we first relied on your feedback. So to give you more grip, we developed a new rubber sole. Then, we entrusted our shoes to passionate trail runners for 6 months, to test them in real conditions, every day, on all terrains. The result? To choose the right size

For trail running, do not hesitate to take a size larger than your usual size in order to guarantee optimal comfort downhill and to prevent the toes from hitting the stop. Tip: keep your nails short and, before any descent, check that your lacing prevents your foot from sliding forward in the shoe.

Buying advice and fitting

Try on both shoes, standing up, with the socks used for your trail runs. Try several models, several sizes if necessary. Two points of comfort need to be checked: the seat of the heel and the front of the foot when descending. Do not hesitate to trot in the store. Gradually use your shoes during the first trail outings to make them fit your foot, before really extending the distances.
