To take your measurements:

  • Head:  Wrap a measuring tape around your head, above the eyebrows. Make sure it's parallel to the ground when your head is straight.
  • Chest:  Wrap a measuring tape around your back and come forward as far as your chest goes. Make sure it is straight and parallel to the ground.

These 3 meters represent the maximum distance between 2 trees for the installation of your Basic hammock. The less taut your hammock is, the better. The hammock should "smile" at you when you look at it. When you are seated in your hammock with your legs at 90°, you must be at a maximum height of 40 cm. For more comfort, sit diagonally.

      Compatibility with a hammock stand

      - A hammock stand with a length of 3m (maximum possible length) between the two hammock attachment points will be compatible provided that it can offer a height of 1m20 between the two attachment points. - A hammock stand with a length of 2,6m (minimum recommended length) between the two hammock attachment points will be compatible provided that it can offer a height of 1m50 between the two attachment points.
